Hazrat Shah Jalal's Mazar Sharif (where to stay, how to go, where to eat).

       Welcome to "Shoj travel"

Dear viewers, I am with you BM Belal. Today I am going to share with you the detailed information about Hazrat Shah Jalal's Mazar Sharif (where to stay, how to go, where to eat).
Shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA)

Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) was a famous saint and saint of the subcontinent. He was Olikul Shiromani. Islam spread through him in Sylhet region. Raja Gaur Gobind's persecution of the first Muslim Sheikh Burhan Uddin of Sylhet and the arrival of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and his traveling companion 360 Auliya in Sylhet is a significant event in history. For this reason Sylhet is called the land of 360 Auliyas. Some even call Sylhet a holy land.

Dargah Sharif is a very sacred place for everyone, so it is not used to attract tourists. For this reason, the custodians of the Dargah decide who can enter the Dargah. Many times visitors are turned away for not wearing decent clothes. So when entering the dargah, you must pay attention to your clothes.

Carrot fish

There is a pond on the north side of Hazrat Shahjalal's Dargah. There are innumerable carrot fish in this pond. These fish are considered sacred and visitors are allowed to eat small fish. There is a small fish market in the west corner of the pond. There is also azur system in the pond. On December 4, 2003, more than 700 carrot fish were killed in the pond by poisoning. As a result, the pond became empty of carrot fish. The dead fish were buried in the cemetery on the west side of the mosque. After the pond became empty of fish, on January 11, 2004, 24 carrot fish were brought from the tomb of Shah Mostafa (RA) of Moulvibazar, another traveling companion of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and released into the pond. At present the number of carrot fish in the pond stands at hundreds.

Jalali Kabutar and Nizam Uddin Aulia

Recognizing the spiritual power of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA), Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia (RA) welcomed him. As a token of affection, he gave her a pair of surma-colored pigeons or jalali pigeons. The Surma-colored pigeons that are now seen in Sylhet and its environs are the descendants of the pair and are known as Jalali pigeons. In Sylhet, no one kills or eats this pigeon irrespective of caste, religion and caste. Rather, the residents provide them with food and shelter. Pigeons are seen flying in flocks in Shahjalal's shrine area every day. The shrine authorities provide food for these pigeons.
Scream

To the south of the shrine is a small house inlaid with grilled stars, the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal. The place is only two feet wide. It is said that Hazrat Shahjalal spent 23 years of his life in worship at this shrine.

Items used by Shahjalal (RA)

Hazrat Shahjalal was not only a Pir, he was a heroic Mujahid. His used swords, clogs, plates and bowls are on display for visitors. On the south side of the Dargah there is an entrance through the Dargah Madrasa building. After proceeding along this path, the house on the left belongs to Mufti Nazimuddin Ahmed. Hazrat Shahjalal's sword and clog are preserved in this house. Plates and bowls are preserved in the house of the Motawalli of the Dargah. Crowds of people gather every day to see these.
